The Florida Prepaid College Board manages both the Florida Prepaid
College Plan and the Florida College Investment Plan. Both are 529 plans
authorized by Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Florida Prepaid College Board has more experience in the 529 plan
business than any other program manager.
The Florida Prepaid College Plan sold its first plan 19 years ago, and
today is the single largest 529 plan in the country. More than 1.2
million Florida Prepaid plans have been purchased statewide, and
enrollment is growing.
The
Florida Prepaid College Board provides families with a second option to save for college. The Florida College
Investment Plan offers a range of investment options and flexibility.
